The Century II Convention and Performing Arts Center is warning of false information and higher ticket prices for an upcoming concert.
The Wichita Symphony will present “The Music of John Williams: Oscar Legend” on Saturday, February 10th. Symphony officials said there are web sites offering tickets at inflated prices, as much as five times the regular price.
The only location to get tickets is the web site WichitaSymphony.org and there are no fees charged with the ticket price. The prices for tickets on the Symphony web site range from $30 to $80. People who purchase tickets can also select their seat in the Concert Hall.
The concert will feature the film music of John Williams performed by the Symphony, led by Maestro Daniel Hege. The Symphony said John Williams will not be in attendance at the event.
