Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors homeless Army Veteran Giann Soto. He fell on hard times at 26, and his hail mary was to get his commerical driver’s license at trucking school. He soon faced dropping out because he was informed of an almost $900 balance he owed for lodging, drug screening and licensing fees. That’s where the community Texas came together and when complete strangers heard he was ready to drop out, they raised the money for him. Thanks to this gift, he passed his test on the first try, will graduate on the 30th and get his license next month. Congratulations Giann and THANK YOU for your service.
