The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are looking into the death of a man at a work release facility in Wichita.
The Sheriff’s Office said a corrections officer found a 22-year-old man unconscious in a dorm around 5:30 a.m. Monday after being told that the man was not doing well. The man was pronounced dead after medical efforts failed to revive him.
The man was assigned to a work release program. No other information has been released.
