Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors 70-Year-Old disabled Army Veteran Steven Graven. For the last several months, porch pirates have been stealing packages from Steven so he decided to do something about it. He gathered up some “live rounds” from his German Shepherd, put them in a box and left them on the porch, with the plan to pursue the criminals and the smell. The criminals took the bait, Steven took chase through several neighborhoods where officers eventually made the arrest. Stephen said, “Being a veteran, especially a Vietnam veteran – I wasn’t concerned for my safety as much as I wanted to catch them. I took an oath to defend this country from enemies foreign and domestic and no one’s been able to catch them. Great work Steven and THANK YOU for your service.
