Here are today’s 5 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
1. Winter weather still very much the talk of the country. As you and I recover from the last 36 hours and deal with some roads that are still pretty slippery depending on where you live, Extreme weather barreled across the U.S. yesterday. Severe storms and tornadoes swept through the South, heavy rains and strong winds pummeled the East Coast, snow fell in the Midwest, and blizzard conditions blanketed the Pacific Northwest.
2. A law professor graded the legal argument presented by Trump’s lawyers that he is immune, above the law and can basically do what he wants. The argument got a D. Now the opinion is, this attempt to bully the court could lead to Trump’s ultimate defeat.
3. Day 3 of the national nightmare know as “Peacockgate” – where players, coaches, and fans are not pleased with the NBC power play that only allows you to see the Chiefs – Dolphins game on Saturday only if you subscribe to Peacock for $5.99 for a month. In an effort to do something about it, I’m giving away Peacock memberships this week and so is Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu.
4. Grogu and are heading to the big screen. It was just announced that Jon Favreau will direct the new “Star Wars” film “The Mandalorian & Grogu”. This news comes on the heels of the announcement that 3 new Star Wars films are on the way. Daisy Ridley will reprise her role as Rey in a Star Wars movie exploring the New Jedi Order and is set 15 years after “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”
5. and the +Pool is coming to the East River in NYC. +POOL will be 9,000 square feet, with a unique floating design that filters the water inside of it, with a number of unique patented features to make sure the water is sanitized and up to swimming pool standards. I’m already taking bets on the over / under on how many days till you can’t swim in this water either or the mob dumps a body in it.
