Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Veteran Harold Pflager. During World War II, Harold discovered his love for gardening as a child back home on the farm. After being drafted and being stationed in Korea and Japan, he finished his service and picked right back up where his green thumb left off. Harold has always grown enough to donate to the local church and take care of the fresh groceries for about 15 families each year. Harold’s 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren help, now at the age of 90, Harold still grows and gives to help others. Thank you Harold for your generous heart and THANK YOU for your service.
