Here is a future trivia question…..name the artist who was the first to ever collaborate with the band The Black Crowes.  The answer, Lainey Wilson.  Look for the song “Wilted Rose” on the new album from the Black Crowes called “Happiness”

 

 

It’s Friday and still no statement from Chris Young about the arrest on Monday.  At first it was thought Chris was drunk and disorderly, then new footage showed the ABC agent could bear a bulk of the responsibility.  Chris’ lawyer said the charges should be dropped  and an apology given.  I would anticipate new info and new statements today.

 

 

 

In today’s episode of “Country What Ifs” – What if Lady A’s Hillary Scott sang “Jesus Take The Wheel”. The first number 1 and career launching hit for Carrie Underwood was almost not a Carrie Underwood song.  Turns out Hillary had a chance to record it first and didn’t.

Kacey Musgraves will release her cover of Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds” at midnight on Thursday (January 25th). The song is from the upcoming Bob Marley: One Love EP, which will accompany the new movie of the same name on February 14th.

 

 

 

 

 

In case you missed the annoucement late in the show yesterday, Eric Church and Morgan Wallen are the new owners of “Field and Stream”.  They plan to bring the magazine back in print, digital and organize a Field and Stream Music Festival.
