Luke Combs and Tracy Chapman performing “Fast Car” at the Grammys last night was one of the biggest Grammy moments in decades. It was all over news feeds and the most talked about event on the show last night.
But there were other highlights, like some of the winners:
Lainey Wilson for Best Country Album
Miley Cyrus, Goddaughter of Dolly Parton, won her very first Grammy
Chris Stapleton took home 2 trophies for his song “White Horse” (Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance)
Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves won Best Country Duo for “I Remember Everything”
It was a family affair for Jelly Roll, Bunnie XO and daughter Bailee Ann – a perfect night for Jelly Roll to reveal the big “Bailee Ann” tattoo on the side of his head
Despite all the rumors about their marriage being on a downward spiral, Blake and Gwen continue to prove otherwise. They are teasing their next duet which seems to have the title of “Purple Irises”.
This is interesting, rapper T-Pain said when he spent 10 years in Nashville he wrote a lot of country songs for some “huge” country artists but removed his name from the credits and just took home the check because of racism.
Cody Johnson is coming to Intrust Bank Arena for his sold out show on Friday….this after he just broke the attendance record at his sold out show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Rising country star Anne Wilson just announced the release of her new album, “Rebel”, coming April 19th. She also just released a new single “God & Country”
It now has a name, “The Mind of a Country Boy Tour” and Luke Bryan kicks it off in Canada on April 17th. Kansas City and Oklahoma City in August are the road trips you’ll have to make to see him.
