Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Army Veteran Rev. Dr. Pat Polis.  Pat enlisted in the Army when he was just 19 years old. At 20-years-old he was in charge of a platoon on the DMZ (demilitarized zone) in Korea.” After a tour in Korea and two back-to-back in Vietnam, he said it was time to leave the military. Pat became a successful business man but it wasn’t his calling.  So, he left his 6 figure job for seminary. Pat is now a pastor and works as a consultant helping struggling churches. He also has two radio rograms, one where he speaks with local non-profits, and the Church Mechanic, where he advises struggling churches.  Thank you for spreading the word and helping others Pat and THANK YOU for your service.
