Here come 5 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

1. Despite the best efforts from Trump’s defense team, a U.S. Appeals Court has ruled that the former President does NOT have presidential immunity when it comes to the alleged crimes he committed during the attacks on the capitol on January 6th. All eyes are now on the Supreme Court to determine if Trump will stand trial.

2. Nikki’s days may be numbered. Nikki Haley was swamped Tuesday in Nevada’s symbolic Republican presidential primary as voters resoundingly picked the “none of these candidates” option on the ballot in a repudiation of the former U.N. ambassador and last remaining major rival to front-runner Donald Trump.

3. The way you watch sports is about to change again. n a major move for streaming TV, three of the largest media companies are teaming up for a joint venture that will offer access to a dozen major-league sports. ESPN, Fox Sports and TNT, TBS and other networks will offer a comprehensive package later this year that includes NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL games.

4. Patrick Mahomes’  dad could face a $10,000 fine and 10 years in prison after being stopped for his 3rd DUI. He did post bond and the Texas judge said he will allow him to travel to Vegas to see his son play in the Super Bowl.

5.  and it’s “Lions, Tigers and Bears no more”.  PETA, the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals wants to change the way Chance, the company here in town that makes amusement rides, makes carousels.  PETA wants animals removed from the classic ride and they want them replaced with things like cars, spaceships, airplanes and more.
