Morgan Wallen just showed up in Nashville with his friend Hardy and sang an acoustic version of a new song. Country fans have a lot of questions but as of now there is no word on a release date or if it’s part of a future album.
The list of people who want to work with Dolly Parton is long…..you can add one more name to that list…..Snoop Dogg. The rapper said he would love a “D-oh-double-G” and “Dolly” collab. I know it sounds weird, but I really want it to happen.
One person who did recently sing with Dolly was Carly Pearce at a recent Dolly Parton pet fundraiser, where the two sang “9 to 5”. You may remember Carly got her start singing on stage at the Dollywood theme park. Another highlight of the night was an all-star line up, including Chris Janson, singing Jolene and Lainey Wilson singing “I Will Always Love You” with Dolly. If you missed the show last night, you can stream it anytime on Paramount+
CMA Fest returns this summer, and we’re expected to learn the all-star lineup soon. The annual event will be held at various stages across downtown Nashville from June 6th to June 9th. Headliners will perform at Nissan Stadium. The CMA Fest 2024 performers are expected to be announced in early March.
