The Wichita Wind Surge is looking to fill jobs that will be needed for the upcoming baseball season. The team is holding a job fair Saturday, February 24th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Riverfront Stadium.
The team will be looking for Clubhouse Attendants, Fan Hosts, Grounds Crew, the Mascot, a Promotional Team, Ticketing, and Video Production. More information and applications can be found at the team’s web site at www.windsurge.com
OVG, the food and beverage department at Riverfront Stadium, will also be looking for candidates for Concessions Worker, Concessions Cook, Cook/Prep positions, Dishwasher, Suite Captain, Picnic Lead, Picnic Server and Warehouse Worker. Anyone wishing to interview for the positions should bring a completed application along with a resume to the job fair. Candidates must by 16 years or older, and they are encouraged to dress appropriately. Potential employees are subject to a background check and a drug test.
Parking for the job fair will be in the Maple Street Lot and applicants can enter through the Maple Street entrance where they will be directed to the event in the Fidelity Bravely Onward Club.
Open positions are for seasonal employment only, for people who are interested in working Wind Surge home games and any additional stadium events. Training will be provided.
The Wind Surge open the season at home April 5th against Frisco, Texas.
