A Junction City man has been charged with first degree murder for a fatal shooting in Wichita.
A hearing was held for 38-year-old Dennis Alcox, who was also charged with criminal possession of a firearm by a felon. His bond was set at $1.5 million.
Alcox was arrested in Junction City several hours after an early morning shooting in Wichita on February 22nd. Police found the body of 26-year-old Audreanna Hidalgo at an apartment complex in the 8100 block of East Harry.
Police said the shooting was a case of intimate-partner violence, and Alcox was on pre-trial supervision in an aggravated battery case.
