An unidentified man was critically injured when he was hit by a car on a west Wichita street early Tuesday.
The accident was reported around 1:45 a.m. in the 6800 block of West Central, east of the intersection with Ridge Road. A man was found in the street and taken to a hospital.
Police were talking to the driver and continuing their investigation.
