Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Vietnam Veteran, Purple Heart recipient and businessman Larry Griggs. Larry has worked at the family business for 60 years. When he got back from Vietnam, he took the family flooring business over and has been working there and giving back to the community every since. He’s beat prostate cancer and most recently throat cancer, due to his exposure to agent orange and after all these years of working he said he’s ready to retire so he can spend some time with the grandkids and he and his wife can “go places”.
