Visit Wichita and Wichita State University will be hosting a Major League Table Tennis event in Wichita this spring. This is the first time that Wichita has hosted a table tennis tournament.
The league has players representing 40 countries, and they will compete in a format that concludes with the Golden Game, a race to 21 points where every member of each five-person team rotates every four points.
Wichita will be hosting the league’s West Division. The competition will be held April 5th through the 7th at Charles Koch Arena on the WSU campus. General admission tickets start at $20 with $40 for VIP packages. Tickets will provide access to a fan zone where people can play on ping pong tables and meet the pros. The tickets are available at the Shocker Ticket Office and at MLTT.com/tickets
This will be the final event for West Division players before championship weekend, April 27th and 28th, at Gentile Arena in Chicago. The top four teams will compete for the MLTT Cup and $100,000 in prize money.
