There was no question Toby Keith would make it into the Country Music Hall of Fame, it’s just sad he’s not alive to see it. Toby Keith, John Anderson and James Burton are among the 2024 Country Music Hall of Fame inductees. The ceremony will be this fall.
Garth Brooks is joining several other artists in honor of Elton John and Bernie Taupin this week. John and Taupin will receive the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song Wednesday. A concert will be held in their honor in Washington, D.C. Other performers include Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Metallica, Billy Porter, and Charlie Puth. The concert will air as a special on PBS on April 8th.

Efforts have gone from search and rescue to recover in the case of missing college student Riley Strain. New body cam footage has surfaced of a brief interaction with a Nashville police officer, and two TikTok internet sleuths found Riley’s bank card on the banks of the Cumberland River.
