Republican presidential nomination front runner Donald Trump at 60 Centre Street; Manhattan's supreme court. NEW YORK CITY - AUGUST 17 2015

Former President Donald Trump is on the hook for far less money in his civil fraud case.

A five-judge panel of appellate court judges decided it would accept a 175-million-dollar bond from Trump while he appeals the nearly 460-million-dollar penalty he was originally ordered to pay. This time he has ten days to pay up.

Trump has repeatedly said he has 500-million-dollars in cash, but would rather the state go through the lengthy process of seizing his properties while he continues to fight the ruling.

Former President Trump’s New York hush money trial will begin next month. A judge rejected a further delay in the case and set jury selection to begin on April 15th. Trump’s lawyers had asked to have the trial to either be delayed or dismissed.    Trump pleaded not guilty last April to charges of falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
