Foul play is not suspected in the disappearance and death of University of Missouri student Riley Strain. His body was found in the Cumberland River in Nashville on Friday — two weeks after he was kicked out of a Luke Bryan’s downtown bar. A police spokesperson says toxicology results are still pending, but Strain’s death appears to be accidental.

 

 

Trisha Yearwood is the first ever recipient of the 2024 June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award. She’ll accept the honor during the CMT Music Awards on April 7th. That will also be her first appearance on the show since 2019.

 

 

 

As much as Keith Urban is always working on his personal growth and the growth of his music, he is the perfect choice for The Voice.  Keith was just announced as the ‘Mega Mentor’ for this season

 

 

 

Jordan Davis and rock band Need-To-Breath will join forces for “CMT Crossroads.” It’s a special awards show edition of the show. The cross-genre artists will share their music and stories at the University of Texas’ UT Tower on April 5th in an outdoor setting.

 

 

 

His current song, “Cab in a Solo” is sitting in the top 10 and this Friday Scotty McCreery will follow it up with release of his next single “Red Letter Blueprint”.  A great ‘play on words’ song that should earn Scotty his next #1.
