Police blocked traffic on Broadway south of the downtown area and searched an apartment complex after a report of a man armed with a knife. They later took a man into custody without incident.
Officers closed Broadway from Orme to Morris shortly before 6 p.m. and they were searching an apartment complex at Broadway and Indianapolis. There was a report that a man had broken into an apartment and claimed to be armed.
No injuries were reported.
