Taylor Swift is the 2024 iHeartRadio Artist of the Year. She beat out country stars Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, and Luke Combs in the all-genre category. Jelly Roll won Best New Country Artist and Best New Pop Artist. Lainey Wilson took home the award for Country Song of the Year for “Heart Like a Truck.”

 

 

 

 

Chayce Beckham is celebrating his first hit single. “23” is number one this week on both the Billboard Country Airplay and the Mediabase Country charts. He thanked his fans on social media, saying, “I wrote the song when I had nothing to my name.” According to Billboard, Beckham’s “23” is the first Billboard Country Airplay chart-topper written by a solo writer since “Fast Car” topped the charts last summer

 

 

 

 

Sam Hunt is hitting the road, and he’s taking Russell Dickerson, Dalton Dover and George Birge with him. The country music superstar announced his Locked Up Tour on Monday. It takes its name from Hunt’s upcoming EP. The tour starts June 28th in Bend, Oregon with the presale starting tomorrow.

 

 

 

 

Koe Wetzel is coming to Intrust Bank Arena August 17th for his “Bulls, Bands and Barrells” show.  His schedule just got a lot busier. Monday morning he announced his massive, 46-date headlining Damn Near Normal World Tour. The tour kicks off in July in his home state of Texas.

 

 

 

 

The CMT Music Awards just announced the Top 6 finalists for Video of the Year. The fan-voted awards started with 16 finalists in the category, which is now narrowed down to six.

The artists who are still in the running for Video of the Year are Ashley McBryde, with “Light On In the Kitchen,” Cody Johnson with The Painter,” HARDY with “Truck Bed,” Jelly Roll, with “Need a Favor,”  Kelsea Ballerini  with “If You Go Down, I’m Goin’ Down Too,” and Lainey Wilson, with “Watermelon Moonshine.”

 

 

 

 

and if you want to level up your Memorial Day weekend and you’re a Morgan Wallen fan – good news.  He just announced a 1-night-only show, May 25th at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri. Fan club presale starts today and ends Thursday at 10 p.m. local time, with general sales beginning this Friday (April 5) at 10 a.m.
