Travis Adams arrived back in Kansas yesterday to get ready for the Wichita Wind Surge home opener on Friday. Before that he was in the right place at the right time. The right handed pitcher and draft pick of the Minnesota Twins was in Fort Myers and risked his own life to run into a burning building to save the life of an 82-year-old man he didn’t even know. He lived closed by, heard a loud bang, ran outside and saw the fire. After finding a side door to get in the house, he pulled the man to safety.  Risking your life for your fellow man….THAT’S AWESOME!!
