An Inman man died at a Wichita hospital after a crash Wednesday morning in McPherson County.
A two-vehicle crash was reported on Kansas Highway 61 southwest of Inman around 7:30 a.m. The Kansas Highway Patrol said a pickup was going west on Arapaho Road and failed to stop at a stop sign on Highway 61. The pickup collided with a northbound car.
The driver of the pickup, 92-year-old Harry Neufeldt of Inman, was flown by helicopter to a Wichita hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the car, 31-year-old Aung Kyaw of Salina, was taken to a hospital with possible serious injuries.
Northbound traffic on K-61 was closed and vehicles were being diverted onto Arapaho.
