The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is suspecting foul play in the disappearance of two southwest Kansas women.
27-year-old Veronica Butler and 39-year-old Jilian Kelley of Hugoton were last seen on Saturday where they were traveling to pick up children, but they never made it to the pickup location. Their vehicle was found south of Elkhart, Kansas, in rural Texas County, Oklahoma.
OSBI agents have been in the Oklahoma panhandle to investigate the disappearance, and spokesman Hunter McKee said evidence found in the car indicated foul play. Schools in Yarbrough, Oklahoma were locked down on Tuesday as a precaution, because the car was found three miles away.
