Things are getting back to normal after a widespread 911 outage was reported in four states on Wednesday. Authorities said residents in parts of Nebraska, Nevada, South Dakota and Texas were unable to call the number.
Police said the service was finally restored late Wednesday night In Las Vegas and early Thursday morning in parts of Nebraska. South Dakota officials said the outage was affecting the entire state, but that service has finally been restored.
Parts of southern Texas are still having some issues. Police in Del Rio said the issue was only affecting T-mobile customers, and that service had not yet been restored.
