A first degree murder charge has been filed against a Wichita woman for a fatal shooting earlier this week.

A hearing was held Friday for 19-year-old Amunique Cavitt, and her bond was set at $1 million with the next court appearance scheduled for May 10th.

Cavitt is charged in a shooting that happened Tuesday afternoon in the 1400 block of North Minnesota.  Officers found 34-year-old Norman Carter III with several gunshot wounds, and he died a short time later at a hospital.
