Today we honor Midwest Battle Buddies and a fundraiser this weekend that will help them continue their mission. Statistics from the Veteran’s Administration show 22 veterans every day take their own lives because of Post Traumatic Stress. Studies show up to 30 percent have experienced PTS in their lifetime. It has been shown that their service dogs help reduce the symptoms and medications required for treatment and prevent veterans from taking their own lives. Midwest Battle Buddies provides a service for veterans to receive quality, certified dogs with very little out of pocket expense.  To do that, they are always fundraising and in need of your generosity. This Saturday, they are holding a Benefit Car Show event that also includes a “Roses and Rebels” Pin Up and Greaser Contest. All proceeds will go to continue the important work of Midwest Battle Buddies.
