Police are investigating after a 7-year-old child was hit by a vehicle in a southwest Wichita neighborhod.
The accident was reported around 9 p.m. Friday near Jewell and St. Clair, in a neighborhood north of the intersection of Pawnee and Meridian.
Police were talking to the driver and they reported that the child’s injuries were not life-threatening.
