Hutchinson police said they arrested a 41-year-old man after a stabbing that left a woman with serious injuries.
Officers were called to a home in the 1300 block of North Arthur shortly before 5 p.m. Friday, and they found a woman with life-threatening injuries. She was taken to the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center and later transferred to a Wichita hospital where she was in serious but stable condition.
A suspect was identified and arrested around 4 a.m. Saturday. He was booked into the Reno County jail for attempted second degree murder, sexual battery and a parole violation.
