Marjorie Taylor Greene’s plan to remove House Speaker Mike Johnson has failed. The Georgia Republican tried to force a vote to remove Johnson, but a bipartisan vote killed the motion from seeing the light of day.

Greene is upset over a series of spending bills passed to bolster U.S. allies that didn’t include any new measures on securing the border. Greene’s fellow Republicans were critical of her efforts, with one congressman calling it a “dumpster fire.”
