A man has been sentenced in the accidental shooting death of a Wichita teenager.
A Sedgwick County district judge sentenced 49-year-old Fabian Griffin to 12-and-a-half-years in prison and five-thousand-dollars in restitution.
The victim, 16-year-old Casey James Lawrukiewicz, died in a shooting at a home near Harry and Hillside in March 2017. Police said the shooting was the result of unsafe handling of a firearm.
