One person was taken to a hospital with critical injuries after an apartment fire Sunday night in southeast Wichita.
Crews were sent to the High Point East Apartments at 9400 East Lincoln around 9:30 p.m. They found smoke in an apartment and it turned out to be a kitchen fire that was brought under control in a short time.
