Today we honor the local non-profit Midwest Battle Buddies and Integrity Trade Services. Midwest Battle Buddies raises funds to train service dogs for Veterans who need them. Whether it’s do to PTSD, a traumatic brain injury or something else. They have also found another way to give back just as the heat of summer is rolling in. They are looking for a deserving Veteran or Gold Star Family in need of a new HVAC cooling unit. Before the Kansas summer starts sweltering, let’s help them to not suffer through the heat.
