Memorial Day weekend kicked off with a new travel record. In a social media post, TSA says it screened more than two-point-95-million airline passengers nationwide on Friday, the highest number on a single day. The agency says that’s more than the previous record that was set on the Sunday after Thanksgiving last year.
Travel was also expected to reach record highs on the roads this Memorial Day weekend, with Triple A expecting over 38-million Americans to travel by car.
