1. Mother Nature is clearly not a race fan and all the rain on Sunday left NASCAR fans absolutely VEXED after hours of delay and track drying only to have NASCAR officials call the race around midnight declaring Christopher Bell the winner with 151 laps left to go.

2. The Indy 500 didn’t fair much better, getting off to a late start after a lot of rain.  The real talk of this race was the absolutely stunning performance of the National Anthem by Jordin Sparks, with one fan giving her a 100 out of 10, and the word “goosebumps” getting used a lot on social media

3. The name Bette Nash is trending. Bette holds the title of the world’s longest-serving flight attendant, starting her career back in 1957 and finishing with American Airlines.  In 2022 she earned the title officially being awarded the Guinness World Record title. Bette died of cancer earlier this month at the age of 88. American Airlines honored her in a post on social media, saying “Fly high, Bette.”

4. Chiefs fans, you need your mouths washed out with soap.  According to a new study, Chiefs fans rank 2nd when it comes to NFL fans who swear the most.  Bengals fans are first. Thanks to the Harrison Butker story, Chiefs fans already have an early start to claim first place this season.

5. Officials are trying to get a Japanese Macaque, also known as a Snow Monkey, back to its owner after the 15 year old primate escaped captivity.  What’s making it difficult is the same people who run after buffalo and bears in national parks, are approaching Bradley the Macaque and scaring him off.  If you want to capture him, just put a pair of sunglasses down – when vacationing in Japan, the Snow Monkey is famous for stealing your belongings when you’re not looking.
