The Wichita school district will begin the annual Summer Food Program on Tuesday, May 28th.

Free breakfasts and lunches will be offered to children 18 years old and younger at 34 locations as part of the WPS Summer Food Program. The Summer Food program runs May 28 to July 26, 2024. Due to changes in federal regulations, children must be present to receive a meal and all meals must be consumed onsite.

The dates and times of operation vary at each site.   More information is available at www.usd259.org/summerfood for locations, times and menus.

The free meals are available to all children ages 1 to 18, not just WPS students or students who qualify for free/reduced meals. No meal reservations are required and there are no qualifying guidelines or paperwork to fill out to participate in the Summer Food Program.
