Hundreds of thousands of people are still without power in Texas after severe storms pummeled northeast Texas. Power outages are expected to be a multi-day issue in the state, stemming from all the problem brought about by fierce winds.
A 75-mile-an-hour wind gust was reported Tuesday at Dallas Love Field Airport, and extreme winds are being blamed for toppling trees across area.
Flood warnings were also in effect for parts of the Trinity River that runs through Dallas, which has been soaked for days by heavy rain.
