A Wichita man died after officers found him with a gunshot wound in a southeast Wichita neighborhood.
Police were called to the 4800 block of East Funston, near Harry and Oliver, around 9:30 Tuesday night. They found 27-year-old Quentin Gordon with a gunshot wound. He died later at a hospital.
Investigators found that Gordon was involved in an argument with another person when the shooting took place. They’re still working to find a suspect, and anyone with information is urged to contact them at 316-268-4407 or provide an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
This is the 15th criminal homicide in Wichita for 2024.
