Going to New York City for the Awesome today. Comic book writer Ethan Sacks  has created comics for Star Wars and Marvel, but his most important comic book was one where he created a superhero character to inspire his daughter Naomi during her mental health crisis. Based on that character, the father and daughter duo then wrote the comic series “A Haunted Girl” together, telling the story of a teen navigating life after a suicide attempt while facing a demon apocalypse. The project, which has been released as a book that comes with mental health resources, was a collaborative effort aimed at providing hope and understanding to others facing similar struggles. Naomi’s personal experiences contributed to the authenticity of the story, reflecting her journey toward recovery.
