Kansas transportation crews are continuing maintenance work on Interstate 135 in north Wichita, and more ramps have been closed this week.
The latest closures involve the entrance ramp from East 9th Street North and the exit 8 ramp to East 13th Street North from northbound I-135.
The ramp closures are part of the northbound I-135 patching project from 2nd Street to 17th Street. Motorists will need to find alternate routes, and they’re urged to be alert and obey the warning signs when approaching and driving through a highway work zone.
It is estimated that maintenance on these ramps will conclude in late July, weather conditions permitting.
