Park City officials will have a groundbreaking ceremony Friday to begin construction on a “downtown district” that will bring shopping and housing to the community.
The Park Centre development will be on a 48-acre site at 61st Street North and Hydraulic. It will have residential housing, retail shops and a park that will be a location for a farm and art market.
Construction is already underway on another major development project in Park City. The $500 million Champtown development will include a hotel, restaurants, baseball fields and a ferris wheel.
Both developments are projects of Lange Real Estate.
