Police have identified the man whose body was found in the trunk of a car early Wednesday in west Wichita.
The body of 39-year-old Kyce Barnes was found wrapped in blood-stained bed sheets in the trunk of a car that was left in a field in the 8200 block of West Irving, near Kellogg and Tyler Road. He had been shot several times.
Investigators believe that Barnes was shot at a nearby motel, and they’re still looking into the circumstances of the shooting.
