Police are investigating a shooting that happened Friday afternoon in a south Wichita neighborhood.
Officers were called to the 3200 block of East MacArthur around 3:15 p.m. and they found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Police officers and Sedgwick County sheriff’s deputies were on the scene throughout the afternoon and a 32-year-old man was taken into custody for the shooting.
