Three teenagers from Wichita have been charged in connection with a shooting incident that left a man injured at a parking garage in the Old Town district.
Police said shots were fired inside a parking garage at 3rd and Mead on September 1st. A passenger in a pickup was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup then drove to a Quik Trip store at Douglas and Washington, where police were called.
During a court appearance Monday, 18-year-old Jaeden Garcia was charged with criminal discharge of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. 18-year-old James Spivey and 18-year-old Kyan Riddick were each charged with criminal discharge of a firearm. All three are scheduled to be back in court again on September 23rd.
