An unidentified man was taken to a hospital with critical injuries after a house fire Friday afternoon in southwest Wichita.
The fire was reported around 4:15 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Millwood, in a neighborhood southwest of the intersection of McCormick and Seneca.
Investigators said the man apparently was smoking while on oxygen, and that resulted in a fire.
