A 12-year-old girl was taken to a hospital with possible serious injuries after an accident in west Wichita.
The girl was hit by a car at Maple and West Street while on her way to school. Emergency crews were called to the area around 7:30 Tuesday morning.
Police were talking to the driver and the investigation is continuing.
