The McPherson County Courthouse was evacuated for almost an hour after a district court employee received a bomb threat.
McPherson police said the threat was phoned in around 2:45 Thursday afternoon and the building was evacuated. Police officers, McPherson Fire Department personnel, and McPherson County Sheriff’s deputies began searching the building, but nothing was found.
The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating.
