Philadelphia Police have a man in custody after two women were wounded by gunfire during the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory parade on Friday.
In a Saturday update, officials said the shooting stemmed from an argument along the parade route near 23rd and Spring Garden streets. A 27-year-old woman was shot in her left leg, and a 20-year-old woman was shot in her upper left thigh. Both are still listed in stable condition at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
Police recovered a weapon and say the 28-year-old suspected shooter is being held pending charges.
