UPDATE: Wichita police have identified the body found in the Little Arkansas River on March 6th as 48-year-old Christopher Zimbelman. He had been reported missing on February 7th.
Investigators said there were no clear signs of foul play in the death, and the investigation is continuing.
Kayakers found the body around 6:30 p.m. on the 6th in the Riverside neighborhood, near the 500 block of North Nims.
Police said Zimbelman may have been dead for a couple of weeks. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
