Fire destroyed a home in northwest Hutchinson early Friday morning, and one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crews were called to a home in the 200 block of West 15th around 3:45 a.m. and they found a home fully involved in flames. Crews got the fire out in about an hour and a half, then they found a person and a dog inside, and both had been killed.
Two neighboring homes were damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
